WATER TAXI

• The water taxi takes you to the Convention Center and the Westin Resort hotel. The water taxi leaves from River Street near the Hyatt Hotel approximately every 10 minutes and stops running at 10:30pm.

TIPS from LOCALS

• Airport rush hours are 8 – 8:30 am and 4:30 – 5:30. Best way to get to the airport during rush hours? From AVIA's Savannah hotel make a right onto Barnard Street, turn left onto Bay Street and go straight on HWY 80 west for about 10 miles until you get to 1-95 North. Take I-95 North to Exit 104 (Airport Exit) and take a right. The airport is about 1 mile down; you will run into the airport from this exit.

• Taxi availability can be tricky in Savannah. Please let AVIA know you'll be needing a cab and one will be called ahead in plenty of time.

• The City of Savannah fee to self-park in the underground Whitaker Street Parking Garage is $16 per night. AVIA valet service is $20 and allows in and out privileges.
