Tips from Napa Locals

Rush Hours

Traffic is surprisingly heavy on Highway 29 between Napa and St. Helena at commute times and at lunch; many people eat at home as in other small towns.

Please allow longer drive time during commuter hours and weekends. Contact our concierge for traffic updates.

Take a Bus

Driving to and from the San Francisco and Oakland Airports at prime time (7 to 9 a.m. and 3 to 7 p.m.) can be slow. The bus, which can use special lanes, is faster.

Safe Driving

The police are vigilant about drunk driving; there's not much other crime in the rural valley. Select a designated driver, take a cab or limo, or be moderate if you go wine tasting.

Valet Parking

Valet Parking offers simple in and out access, as well as the full complement of instant attention upon arrival and departure. Overnight parking $15.
